The Logistics Business was delighted to be invited to the Cranfield University Annual Careers Fair 2015 to meet students from Masters and PhD programmes. Most of the students had started in courses in 2015, with some completing their studies in September 2015.
This was a great opportunity for The Logistics Business to connect with high calibre candidates who may be considering a career in logistics and supply chain.
Michael Marienfeld, Managing Director, The Logistics Business said: “As a growing company we are now looking for graduates to join us and the careers fair gave us the opportunity to make early contacts. It was an extremely worthwhile day, not only because it allowed us to meet some very interesting students but, also, because we learned so much about what students wanted from employers. It was a two way conversation. We thank the Cranfield University Careers Team for making this such a successful and energetic event.”
David Bingham, Executive Director, The Logistics Business said: “The calibre of students who visited our stand was exceptional and we are now following up on many of the contacts we made. We were ideally looking for candidates who could demonstrate an analytical approach to logistics and supply chain problem solving, strong project management capabilities and who are able to operate in a customer and supplier facing role. We were delighted to talk to graduates who could offer that, and more, so now we look forward to seeing how the contacts we made develop.”
