The Logistics Business has announced the new appointment of Executive Director to expand their already highly experienced team of consultants. David Bingham (54) joined the board of the midlands-based consultancy as an Executive Director on October 1st and brings with him over 20 years of industry experience. Commenting on his appointment, Bingham said:

David has considerable consulting and operational experience with a pragmatic but innovative approach to supply chain issues and challenges. Operational P&L experience covers the UK, Europe and North America where he lived and worked for three years, giving him an international understanding and perspective of supply chain issues and good practice.
Consulting leadership roles have included working for major retailers, Marks & Spencer, Tesco, Shop Direct, Burberry, Magnet and John Lewis to plan and effect changes for sustainable service and cost performance improvements. Recently appointed Managing Director Michael Marienfeld commented on the appointment by saying:
