What is Zone Manager?

Zone Manager is a multi-user Delivery Management system for managing Trade Contractor deliveries, material removals and other site activities.  At it’s core it has a bookings diary that you can make available to anyone who needs it via printouts, large screen displays, over the network or via the internet. But it also gives you control over the movement of deliveries when they arrive for example controlling the movements through the gates onto the site or via an offsite holding park.

You can book deliveries, muck and waste removal, crane or hoist time,  loading platforms, fork lifts etc..  With the web interface you can let Trade Contractors and Suppliers do most of the work by entering the booking details directly themselves.Touch of a button reports provide gatemen with lists of  the days arrivals, crane operators with their schedules and Trade Contractors with lists of what they are expecting.

Against any delivery you can record the actual arrival time or, if the times are not logged, just that it was a ‘no-show’, or had to be turned away.  Unplanned Deliveries can be recorded too.  Armed with this information Zone Manager can produce Trade Contractor performance reports.

To get some of  the biggest benefits the Zone Manager Entry and Exit module enables vehicles to be booked on site or into a holding park in real-time.  The simple interface automatically registers the time of arrival and can be used to track actual delivery quantities.  Site permits can be printed. Using wireless terminals the gateman can see what is expected and instantly book vehicles on and off site.

A holding park with a PC and a 3G card can notify the site immediately via the system that vehicles have arrived and forward them to an appropriate gate.
