Configuring the Zones and Buildings

Zone Manager can manage almost any configuration of site, large or small. Small sites may only have 1 building or perhaps 2 or 3 buildings all serviced by a the same cranes. Large sites are likely to have 2 or more buildings, each with their own cranes and hoists these may need to be managed seperately. Sites may have a single main entrance or many separate Gates. A Building, in Zone Manager, has its own set of Zones and users access can be limited to work just with one Building. Zones can be added and changed as the project progresses. So you can start with just a couple of loading bays and drop-off areas and then add cranes and hoists as the building develops.

“Zones” are any type of Delivery Point, Loading Bay, Crane or Hoist etc.

With a large number the Diary could become hard to manage but Zone Manager has features which allows you to work with only the Zones you need to see.
Cranes and Hoists can be colour coded in the diary
