TNT had developed a major new automated distribution centre for a Client in Europe. However soon after startup it was clear that there were serious problems with the operation and THE LOGISTICS BUSINESS were asked to put a team in to help improve matters. Working closely with the team on site a series of steps were undertaken first to stabilise matters and then to apply project management techniques to identify the problems and solve them in a systematic way. THE LOGISTICS BUSINESS stayed on site until the TNT were in a position to take the work forward on their own. The site is now operating effectively an providing a quality service to its customer.
