The World Turned Upside Down

ebay has been a phenomenon for a growing number of people around the world.  The combination of actions with secure e-commerce has proved increasingly enticing.  Sellers gain the best price for their items and buyers get what they need without paying to much, a true win-win situation.

This type of business is about to be turned on its’ head.  A similar process will increasingly be used by large, and even more medium sized organisations to procure the supplies they need at the best price.

These reverse actions follow all the usual steps purchasers take; specify item or service, select reputable suppliers and cut the best deal.  Far more than an electronic ‘items wanted’, reverse auctions will be used more in the future for procuring essential services, supplies and components.  What will all those hard nosed negotiators do then?
