Scottish Equitable

Scottish Equitable, now part of Aeon, have a small distribution operation primarily for stationery and literature. The service they provide to the network of branches and offices is vital to the smooth running of the organisation and the Management of the operation were keen to be the best at what they do. With little experience of how such facilities operate in other organisations and industry sectors Scottish Equitable brought in THE LOGISTICS BUSINESS to advise on how the service might be further improved.

Starting with a health check we identified a number of improvements. Keen to have their own people closely involved in implementing the changes but to ensure expert advice was available when needed we acted as facilitator and expert, running a series of workshops and monitoring progress against agreed programmes.
