Oxford University Press already have an advanced warehouse at Corby and were an early adopter of automated solutions. Changes in market conditions and customer expectations combined with significant growth mean that a strategic plan is needed for the development of the warehouse.

THE LOGISTICS BUSINESS have been apointed to review the current operation and processes, to analyse the future requirements using the interactive modelling tool, i-flow, and
then undertake a gap analysis to see where changes are needed. A development plan will then be produced charting the way forward for the business. Key to this will be to develop plans that can be implemented without stopping the operation of the business.
