MVM Project

MVM were keen to give Logistics a prominent role in the project. Deliveries to the construction areas have to be made by travelling along the cordoned off hard shoulder and any hold-up or blockage could cause a major disruption of work. Unusually for the construction industry they took on a Logistics Manager from outside their industry sector, in fact from the retail industry. The retail industry is known for giving Logistics a much higher profile.MVM decided they would benefit from the use of a delivery management package something that would be thought of as essential in the retail industry. Particular requirements for this project were :-

• Real-time management
• Remote access from the entrance gates at the various Junctions.

Zone Manager was able to meet these requirements.
