THE LOGISTICS BUSINESS was appointed to lead a study, which involved representatives from across the construction industry, with the overall objective of encouraging and facilitating the wider adoption of good practice in logistics management on construction projects, in the supply and delivery of materials to site.

A number of conference and seminar presentations resulted from this work, which is continuing with a study based on a site for Cambridge University.

Construction Best Practice

THE LOGISTICS BUSINESS has produced, for Construction Best Practice (a Government related body), a Guide to Logistics for Construction, available on their website, and has presented at their 2003 IT conference. The guide is available at www.cbp.idnet.net
